Dr Vishal Shah, University of Warwick
Dr Vishal Shah is an Associate Professor at the University of Warwick’s School of Engineering, where he joined in 2017 and is a member of the PEATER group focused on power electronics applications and technology. With over 15 years of experience in semiconductor materials and technologies, he specialises in ultrawide bandgap materials development for applications including power electronics, quantum technology, and sensing. He has authored three patents and published 44 journal papers, 48 conference papers, and four book chapters.
Dr Shah manages the Warwick fabrication cleanroom and the UK’s only Silicon Carbide (SiC) epitaxial facility and serves as principal or co-investigator on a grant portfolio of approximately £4m.
