Innovation Director

Dr Katie Hore is the Innovation Director at REWIRE Innovation and Knowledge Centre based at the University of Bristol. The centre aims to commercialise a new generation of high voltage electronic devices using ultrawide bandgap compound semiconductors, accelerating the UK’s ambition for net zero and enhancing the security of the UK’s semiconductor supply-chain.

Katie has worked in the semiconductor industry for more than 10 years on a wide range of technologies including power semiconductors, optoelectronics and quantum applications. She has a DPhil in chemistry from the University of Oxford on solid state hydrogen storage materials.
