REWIRE Webinar Series 2025

#5 – From grid to core: power delivery enabling AI computing – please register for the webinar

This is the fifth webinar in our ongoing REWIRE series focusing on all things power semiconductors and next-generation power electronics.

Our November Webinar will be delivered by Professor Teng Long, Professor of Power Electronics at the University of Cambridge, REWIRE Academic and Head of the Cambridge Power Electronics Laboratory. Join Teng and the REWIRE team for a thought-provoking and engaging session as we cover:

  • the state-of-the-art technologies for power delivery within data centre architectures
  • how modern high-performance computing (HPC) cores and the rapid growth of AI applications are increasingly demanding more electrical power with high system efficiency and dynamic response
  • why emerging power electronics technologies such as advanced topologies, power semiconductors, high frequency magnetics, and module packaging need to be urgently adopted to meet such challenging application specifications
  • what the latest solutions within the research and industry communities are currently delivering at the frontiers of power delivery for HPC and AI applications.

There will be opportunities to quiz our speaker during the Q&A at the end of the session.

Please note the webinar will be recorded but the Q&A function is only available live.

Email the REWIRE mailbox (rewire-ikc@bristol.ac.uk) or Alex Oliver (alex.oliver@bristol.ac.uk) if you have any enquiries.
